    Determinación de las herramientas, habilidades y conocimientos requeridos por el contador en tiempos de evolución tecnológica

    La profesión contable está atravesando cambios importantes derivados de la evolución tecnológica, por lo tanto, el objetivo de esta investigación es analizar las herramientas, habilidades y conocimientos que requiere el contador actual para aspirar a puestos de alta dirección. Mediante la revisión de artículos científicos y lo expresado por organismos en diferentes países se encontró que el conocimiento de las nuevas tecnologías emergentes como el big data, la inteligencia artificial, el análisis de datos y blockchain entre otras herramientas de análisis son muy importantes para el contador en la actualidad. Se compararon los programas de estudio que se imparten actualmente en diferentes universidades alrededor del mundo para conocer si dichos planes de estudio se han estado actualizando para incorporar materias de los temas relacionados con las nuevas tecnologías que se requieren cada vez más en el campo laboral actual. Además, se analizó el perfil académico de los directores financieros en las empresas más importantes de México y se entrevistó a profesionales con puestos gerenciales en el estado de Nuevo León para conocer su experiencia laboral y conocimientos tecnológicos requeridos hoy en día. Los resultados ayudarán a identificar los cambios necesarios para los planes de estudios de forma que contribuyan a la mejora del perfil académico del egresado que le permitan contar con las herramientas, habilidades y conocimientos para hacer frente con éxito a los desafíos de la nueva industria 4.0. Palabras clave: Competencias digitales, evolución tecnológica, plan de estudios del contador, industria 4.0 DETERMINATION OF THE TOOLS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE ACCOUNTANT IN TIMES OF TECHNOLOGICAL EVOLUTION Abstract: The accounting profession is going through significant changes derived from technological evolution; therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the tools, skills and knowledge required by the current accountant to aspire to senior management positions. Through the review of scientific articles and what was expressed by organizations in different countries, it was found that the knowledge of new emerging technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, data analytics and blockchain among other analysis tools are particularly important for the accountant today. The curricula currently taught in different universities around the world were compared to know if these curricula have been updated to incorporate subjects related to the innovative technologiesthat are increasingly required in the current labor field. In addition, the academic profile of CFOs in the most important companies in Mexico was analyzed and professionals with management positions in the state of Nuevo Leon were interviewed to learn about their work experience and technological knowledge required today. The results will help identify the necessary changes to the curricula to contribute to the improvement of the academic profile of the graduate that will provide him/her with the tools, skills, and knowledge to successfully face the challenges of the new Industry 4.0.
